GENERAL INFORMATION

Our mission is to "make disciples" as the Lord commanded. At BICS that means applying God's Word to a young believer's life through systematic accountability within intellectual and behavioral disciplines.

For us, "discipleship" means engaging young people in ministry and evangelism, classroom learning, personalized counseling, vocational planning, and first-hand exploration of the lands of the Bible. These dimensions and more make this one-year program an energetic environment for spiritual growth.

Location

The Institute is located at Hope Church, 249 Kemble Street, in Lenox, in the heart of the beautiful Berkshire hills of western Massachusetts. The area is rich in cultural and recreational opportunities--an ideal setting for an academic institution. Boston is about 2 hours to the east on I-90. New York City is 2 1/2 hours south via the Taconic Parkway or I-87.
