ADMINISTRATIVE INFORMATION
The Institute understands its mission to be church-oriented. Faculty and staff are actively engaged in local ministry, with several serving as pastors. Our students are encouraged to integrate into the life of Hope Church or one of the other evangelical churches in the area. In addition, the Institute ministers to the churches through a variety of services such as student ministry field trips, seminars offered by the faculty, and loans of music from its choral library. Student ministry team/summer camps:During the academic year, students from the Institute are organized as a team to travel to churches for weekend and retreat ministries, presenting the Gospel in music, drama and personal testimony. In addition, a number of students serve as summer camp counselors and staff members. Seminars:Faculty and staff members of BICS are available for a variety of teaching and preaching ministries. Workshops, retreats and music ministry can be arranged through the BICS office. Music library:We have an extensive music library, assembled and cataloged by Prof. Wesley Ross. Choral and instrumental arrangements are available on loan to churches at no charge except for postage. |
